I began this forever ago, then got discouraged...But I finished it today!

Anyway, this is for :iconlesmisclub:'s 'Les Heureux' contest. Since 'Les Heureux' translates to 'The Happy Ones,' I just went ahead and drew the characters all happy, because...well, I bet, if everyone had survived, the characters would be a heck of a lot happier. ...Except Javert. Javert is never happy. I wanted to include Grantaire and Enjolras, too, but I ran out of room. *sigh*

The scanner messed up the colors just a teeny bit, and, since I recently bought a new laptop, I haven't yet found any program to edit photos/drawings with, so I had to leave it as is, h-haha.

I do not own Les Miserables, or the characters.

Aah, love this. I love how peaceful the atmosphere is here.

Sigh, if only this had happened...:heart:

Aww, thanks so much!

Yeah! Shame this would take away a ton from the book and musical, though... ^^;

Hmm, yes, that is so. =P But it's just heartbreaking what happens to the lot of them...;)

Oh no! Quick, if you jump in a freezer, you might still have time to make your insides solid again. :D
(Glad you liked the picture, though~)

This is beautiful! I have yet to read the book (my sister is taking FOREVER) but I've seen a production of Les Mis and the 25th anniversary (as a movie). I have to say, I really wish everyone had had a moment like this...especially Eponine.... TT (And this reminds me a bit of a scene from A Tale of Two Cites, because they're all sitting under a tree. Extra bonus points!)

Thank you so much!! Ooh, the book is wonderful, but, gosh, is Victor Hugo wordy. @_@ Though, yeah, I have to agree with you for Eponine...Maybe she had a time like that in her childhood, at some point (Yay!! I actually have yet to read A Tale of Two Cities, but now I want to check it out, just because it reminded you of my picture. :D ).
